Photography Contest & Exhibition: Rules and Submission Guidelines

Rules

  • Eligibility:
    • Open to photographers of all ages, residing in India.
    • All types of photography are permitted; however, submissions must be appropriate for a general audience and free from vulgar, explicit, offensive, or discriminatory content.
  • Age Groups: Participants will be categorized into 3 groups:
  • Teens: 12+ years
  • Adults: 20+ years
  • Seniors: 30+ years
  • Registration Fees:
    • Registration Fee:
      Adults: ₹250/-
      Seniors: ₹500/-
    • Payment Method: Pay to +91 91765 10969 and send a screenshot of the payment proof to contact@hiddenidol.com.
  • Special Registration Condition:
    • Your registration fee will be waived. However, if your entry wins, you will receive a winning certificate only and will not be eligible for any cash prize.
  • Entry Limit: Maximum 3 entries per person is allowed.
  • Selection & Decision:
    • Shortlisted photographs will be displayed in our photo gallery hiddenidol.com/photo.
    • Hiddenidol’s decision regarding the selection of participants and winners is final and binding. Hiddenidol reserves the right to accept or reject any photograph.
  • Exhibition Attendance & Certificates:
    • Shortlisted artists must send their physical print with frame for the exhibition at ICCR Kolkata on July 19, 2026, at 2:30 PM.
    • The exhibition is open from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on July 19, 2025, and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on July 20, 2025.
    • Participants need to be present on 20th July and after exhibition, they can take back their photograph(s) after the completion of the exhibition.
  • Display Tagging: At the exhibition, a designated tag and double-sided tape will be provided. Participants must write their name, state, and photograph’s name on the tag and stick it on the bottom-right side of their artwork.
  • Prizes:
    • Senior Group Winner (1): ₹1000/-
    • Adult Group Winner (1): ₹750/-
    • Teens & Kids Winners: Medal and Certificate
      (cash prize will only be given if you have paid the registration fee)
  • E-certificates will be given to all the participants.

  • Special Invitation: Winners will be invited to the next photography exhibition held in Kolkata and will receive a medal, certificate, and cash prize (as applicable).
  • Results Publication: Results will be published on the hiddenidol.com/results page approximately two weeks after the photography exhibition.

Submission Guidelines

  • Online Submission: All participants must submit their photographs digitally.
  • Previous Submissions Reference: Please see other participants’ submissions for reference at: http://hiddenidol.com/photo-gallery.
  • Registration Deadline: The last date to register is July 17, 2025 (based on Kolkata time).
  • Physical Print Submission (for Shortlisted Artists Only):
    • If your photograph is shortlisted, you will be required to send a physical print of your work.
    • Frame you work according the size of your photograph(s)
    • These prints must reach ICCR Kolkata on July 19, 2025, at 2:30 PM for the exhibition.
  • Physical Photo Submission Deadline (for participants outside Kolkata): All digital photographs must be submitted by July 15, 2026.
